Cow and Bull Auction 2/21/18 Receipts: 375 Last Week: 853 Last Year: 797 Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 2.00-4.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold 2.00-3.00 higher. There was a light supply of bred cows and only a couple sets of cow/calf pairs were traded. Two to three inches of rain over most of the trade area the last couple days created lots of mud and some flooding, also some ice on above ground objects over-night contributed to light receipts today. Supply was light and demand very good for slaughter classes.
