Cow and Bull Auction 8/15/18 Receipts: 850 Last Week: 1170 Last Year: 721 Compared last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold 1.00 higher. There was a light supply of both bred cows and cow/calf pairs. Most of the area received at least some rain last night and this morning and temperatures have moderated. Supply was moderate and demand good for slaughter classes. ***Note: JRS will hold their next replacement cow and bull sale this Thursday evening August 16th beginning at 5:00 pm. expecting 600 head.***
