Cow and Bull Auction Close for 9/08/10

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 lower and
slaughter bulls sold 1.00 lower. The offering included a small dispersal.
The supply of bred cows was moderate and the supply of cow/calf pairs
was light. Substantial rain across much of the area the end of last week
has already given a green cast to some of the parched pastures. Supply
and demand were moderate for slaughter classes.
